Inside, the Ranger runs a cosy 3/4 liner that takes the edge off cold-to-moderate conditions—especially when you’re standing around at a sporting event, walking the dog, or sitting near a fire at camp. There’s also an internal sleeve gutter designed to help protect the liner from getting hammered by runoff.

Full-Length Storm Zip

A fully openable front with a full-length YKK AquaGuard waterproof zipper, backed up by a zip guard to reduce wind and water pushing through the teeth. The wax finish makes water bead and run, while the cotton still breathes so you don’t get that sweaty, clammy vibe. Waxing canvas is a natural way or protecting the fabric and whoever is under it. The wax finish causes water to bead off instead of soaking into the fibres. Waxed canvas is easy to take care of. The ensure the longevity of the canvas we recommend you re-wax it at least every 12 months. This keeps the product water-resistant, mould resistant and it also binds the fibres together.

First of all, I am really impressed with the Jack Stillman logo packaging and also the carry bag for the poncho.
The poncho itself might take some getting used to as it’s not something I’ve ever worn before. Having said that I think it’s perfect for Tasmanian winter weather. It’s so well made and really love the colour. I understand why the hood is bigger but for me I think it could be a fraction smaller. A minor detail though. Overall it deserves a five star rating in my opinion. 👍🇦🇺🦘

I thought the item would be good based on reviews but it has exceeded my expectations - extremely versatile ranging from what it was designed for to gathering up items at the beach (where it was also used as a changing cover ) couldn’t be happier, the long haired General also wants one now

The quality seems good. It’s late summer in England and fairly dry so a five-star review is a little premature, I haven’t really tested it yet.

Had some horrid weather coming and I needed to get out and do some work on my property, clearing some branches that had fallen.The Poncho kept out the cold Victorian rain while giving me plenty of airflow to minimise sweating.Plenty of room to move and when a very heavy downpour came along I was able to just withdraw into it and wait for the worst to pass.Tough and versatile bit of equipment for what I had to do. I look forward to taking it on fishing trips as we can get sudden weather changes here in Victoria.
