My ranger poncho is rugged and amazing for cold wet conditions. I love the attention to detail from the brass buttons to the YKK zippers everything is phenomenal.

Hood is to loose needs draw string button holes in sides to big buttons come undun riding horse or in side by side for the money could be better i can do without buttons coming undone and coat flapping in wind on horses.

First of all, I am really impressed with the Jack Stillman logo packaging and also the carry bag for the poncho.
The poncho itself might take some getting used to as it’s not something I’ve ever worn before. Having said that I think it’s perfect for Tasmanian winter weather. It’s so well made and really love the colour. I understand why the hood is bigger but for me I think it could be a fraction smaller. A minor detail though. Overall it deserves a five star rating in my opinion. 👍🇦🇺🦘

Originally, I thought buying from Jack Stillman might be a risk. I’d only seen the brand online, most reviews were influencer based, and I’ve been burnt before by products that promised high quality but didn’t deliver.

This poncho proved me wrong. The craftsmanship is outstanding, excellent stitching, high‑quality fabric, and a well applied wax finish. The liner is much warmer than I expected, and the overall size offers generous coverage.

I’ve taken it out in all sorts of conditions: wild camping, heavy rain, forestry work, and even picnics. It has kept me consistently warm and dry, with no visible wear or damage. It’s a genuinely high‑quality piece of kit, and I’d replace it with the exact same model without hesitation. Absolutely worth every penny.

Excellent quality and incredibly versatile
I first came across the Drifter Field Blanket Poncho on Facebook. After doing a little research, I decided to take a chance and purchase one, as it looked ideal for my motorcycle adventures. I could use it as a picnic blanket, wear it as a poncho, or even use it temporarily as a bivvy if needed.
When it arrived, I was genuinely impressed. The quality of the manufacturing was exceptional, and it did everything I wanted it to do. I was so impressed with the Drifter that I decided to purchase the Ranger Rugged Rain Poncho as well, this time for everyday use — walking to the shops, going to work, little adventures into the woods, or simply heading down the pub.
Once again, I haven't been disappointed. Just like the Drifter, the Ranger is extremely well made. The waterproof zip feels very sturdy, and I checked all the brass buttons, which look like they'll stand the test of time. I know this is only a little thing but I also really like the fact that both ponchos come with a quality storage bag, making them easy to carry and store when not in use and added an extra quality feel to the products.
I've now had the opportunity to use both, and I can honestly say I haven't been disappointed with either the Drifter or Ranger ponchos. The quality, versatility and attention to detail really stand out.
I'd happily recommend them to anyone looking for something practical, hard-wearing and well made — especially if, like me, you enjoy getting out, either facing the danger of high street shoping, relaxing rides on two wheels or adventures in the woods. The Jack Stillman ponchos are excellent products and definitely worth the money. 5 Stars.

I recently bought a Ranger Poncho and am really pleased with my purchase. The item was delivered quickly and is really well made. It’s a really versatile piece of kit and I’m looking forward to wearing it on hikes, dog walks and around and about town!

I actually returned this item, more for the fact that it’s not fit for my purpose. Though I believe it’s a lovely designer piece but for actual waterproof/resistance properties and quality in the outdoors (specially in the UK I have chosen to look a for something else) fare re-view / sorry if it’s not what the brand wanted to here.

I purchased this poncho as I don’t like wearing a coat as they're either too warm, too bulky, or just a pain. So I opted for a poncho. I was very surprised when I went searching I couldn't actually find anything of decent quality that didn't carry a humongous price tag. Bear in mind I live in England: almost the perfect climate for ponchos.

Anyway, I found Jack Stillman via social media. I looked into their backstory and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of stock, but also the knowledge and effort put into crafting 3 distinct poncho types. I went with the rugged range because it's every guy's dream to walk around pretending to be Aragorn from Lord of the Rings.

Now, I had to wait a while for the jungle colour to come back into stock and I'm so glad I did. It's a gorgeous colour and doesn't impose itself when wearing it out and about town. Coming from a bodybuilding background, I also struggled with finding coats that fit nicely, which is another reason I chose this. It's a perfect fit. It isn't too big, but it allows the body to breathe. The length is also spot on. It's clear they put 100% into the stock they carry. I even went back to purchase some wax.
