The Pacific Poncho Liner is a lightweight quilted layer made to wear inside the Pacific Poncho or completely on its own. Inspired by the famous M65 military jacket liner, it uses the same olive drab colour and distinctive quilting pattern. At just 600 grams, it adds useful warmth without the bulk and restriction of a conventional jacket.

Warmth Where You Need It

Six button attachments secure the liner inside the Pacific Poncho, helping keep it in place and keeping you properly covered when the temperature drops. Wear it separately around camp, throw it on at home, or pack it for the road. The generous one-size design gives you room to move, while its lightweight construction folds down easily into a bag or backpack.

Quilted And Protected

The liner is made from lightweight, poly-filled quilted polyester, with 5cm bands of 8oz waxed canvas protecting the outer edges and shoulder joins on both sides. That puts tougher, water-repellent canvas where rain, mud and general muck are more likely to make contact, while leaving the main quilted body light and comfortable. Six fitted buttons connect directly to the button loops already built into the Pacific Poncho.

Made To Stay Useful

This is a simple piece of kit with more than one job. Use it as extra insulation inside your Pacific Poncho, then wear it independently when you don’t need the outer shell. The waxed canvas edging takes the harder wear around the perimeter and can be maintained and re-waxed over time. No complicated system, no single-purpose design — just a lightweight layer you’ll keep finding reasons to use.

Waxing canvas is a natural way or protecting the fabric and whoever is under it. The wax finish causes water to bead off instead of soaking into the fibres. Waxed canvas is easy to take care of. The ensure the longevity of the canvas we recommend you re-wax it at least every 12 months. This keeps the product water-resistant, mould resistant and it also binds the fibres together.
