Brass Snaps, Built to Age

Solid brass snap buttons are mounted with leather washers for long-term strength and cleaner wear over time. Seamless Shoulder Shield

Cut as one continuous piece of 8oz waxed canvas, the Pacific Poncho removes seams from the shoulder/body zone using our in-house folding system. That means fewer leak points, less chafe under straps, and double-layer protection right where rain and abrasion hit hardest. The built-in shoulder shaping also creates a natural runoff path, so water sheds fast instead of soaking in.

Storm Hood Fit System

The new Storm Hood is more fitted than the Ranger and adjusts front and rear for a proper seal in sideways rain. The rear bungee + cord-locker setup lets you cinch down and fine-tune tension by changing how the cord runs through the four tension loops. Best bit: the rear adjustment is exposed, so it’s easier to service or repair if you ever manage to break it.

AquaGuard Zip Front

AquaGuard® front zip gives you quick on/off without opening up a big wet gap down the chest. Waxing canvas is a natural way or protecting the fabric and whoever is under it. The wax finish causes water to bead off instead of soaking into the fibres. Waxed canvas is easy to take care of. The ensure the longevity of the canvas we recommend you re-wax it at least every 12 months. This keeps the product water-resistant, mould resistant and it also binds the fibres together.

Excellent service and excellent quality poncho thanks i have also ordered the Ranger poncho in Green and looking forwards to the end of the summer heatwave to get some rain exposure and overnighters done.I gave added my alpaca wool poncho to it for the colder nights it also retains heat when damp,so win, win. It now rollsza bit chunkier and wont go in the bag but pack great on my rucksack.

The Pacific Rugged Rain Poncho is, as with all Jack Stillman products, made to a very high standard. Can’t fault the quality. Perfect for its first outing to protect me during a very wet football match at the MCG. Always happy to purchase from Jack Stillman.

This is a strong, well-made poncho. I like the built in hood for heavy rain. I pirchased rhe model with no liner because I have plenty of fleeces that I normally use and there is plenty of room. Shipping is a challenge as it did take over 2 weeks to arrive from Australia, but Customs delayed and that is not the company’s fault. When I did find out the order was delayed, the dompany reaokved it same-day. This is definitely foimg to get some use camping starting in the Fall!
