Waxed canvas is easy to take care of. The ensure the longevity of the canvas we recommend you re-wax it at least every 12 months. This keeps the product water-resistant, mould resistant and it also binds the fibres together.

I'm happy to report that after receiving the new version of the bag and using it for ~6 months, this is now a 5-star bag and my go-to general day bag. The one major problem I had with it has been fully resolved, and the new press-button clips are heavy duty and work great. They've even solved a potential issue of wear and tear on the clip buttons by adding additional canvas straps for them to clip to, rather than the studs being directly on the bag itself - something that would have added to the cost of production but is a great design choice.

Everything else about the bag is still great - it's bigger than it looks while still offering a small and comfortable profile when wearing it. It looks great and is sturdy and made of high quality materials. I used it very frequently on an overseas holiday for day trips, it was a lot easier than carring around a backpack.

Well made and sturdy. My only criticism is the magnetic clips, because I ride and it is to replace my 20yr old dilly bag. It would benefit from a sturdy closure.

Really nice bag and just the right size. The shoulder strap is comfortable. My only issue is that the snap closures are a bit tricky. Maybe a couple of strong magnetic fasteners instead and maybe a couple more further along the bag so I can still close the flap when it's got bulkier items. Thanks!

It's a very well made bag with good quality materials and workmanship, very solid and looks good. Should be great for a wide variety of uses.I'd like one a maybe a little bit larger and with maybe a buckle strap (or two) for the flap to make it even more secure. Also a drawstring lining at the top inside to keep out any heavy rain or dust and help to stop anything falling out.I realise changes could make things more costly. Overall I'm quite pleased with the bag and expect to get years of various uses out it!
